바람(願)이 울고 있다

‘잃어버린 시간’을 주제로 했던 탁인아 씨의 서정적 이미지의 첫 번 째 전시회가 아직도 기억에 생생하다. 그 이후에도 같은 주제의 변주를 지속해오는 동안 그의 표현 기법은 이미지에서 메시지로 바뀌어가는 경향을 보였다.
특히 이번 다섯 번째 전시회는 주제면에서 첫 번 째 전시회의 연장선에 있음에도 표현 방법이 확연히 바뀌어 있다. 시간을 포착하는 시선에 작가 자신의 강한 염원이 담겨 있어, 직설적이고 호소력이 깊어졌다고 할까.
‘잃어버리고 싶지 않은 시간’에 대한 강한 염원. 염원은 인간의 가장 깊숙한 안쪽의 바람이다. 매 순간 살처럼 지나가는 시간을 ‘한 허리 둘로 내어서라도’ 붙들어매고 싶은 강한 바람을 품게 되는 사람은 어떤 사람들일까. 예전에 돈황 근처의 모래밭에서 발굴된 부부의 미라를 덮고 있던 붉은 비단에는 ‘천세불변(千歲不變)’이란 글귀가 적혀 있었다.
사랑이, 사라지는 시간을 만나면 강한 염원이 된다. 작품은 강한 염원이 머문 자리들을 극적으로 포착하고 있다.

나란히 누웠던 자리에 보던 채로 엎어져 있는 성경,
바람을 적어 자신의 인장으로 봉인까지 해서 매달아놓은 수많은 종이쪽지, 하늘 높이 펄럭이는 물고기 모양의 염원을 매단 깃대,
오랜 고목나무에 자신의 몸을 묶어 하나가 되려는 간절한 바람을 담은 긴 천,
호젓한 강변에 흩어져 있는 자갈들을 위태롭게 쌓아올려 만들어진 기원탑,
천세불변을 약속하며 굳게 맞잡은 남녀의 두 손,
불변을 약속하는 서로의 마음을 잠그어 나무가 되어가는 수천수만의 자물쇠들....

이 자리들이 비통하고 애절한 것은 이미 사라진 시간, 그러나 사라진 것 같지만 영속하는 시간의 실체로서 위대한 자연이 함께 하기 때문이다. 인간의 염원은 무궁한 하늘, 나무, 돌들과의 대비로 해서 슬픔과 애통함이 더욱 극진해진다.
사랑은 시간 앞에서 정말 덧없고 속절없는 것일까. 작가는 우리의 유한한 시간이 머문 바로 그 자리에서 불멸의 징후를 포착하고 있다.

Wish is Sobbing Bitterly

The first exhibition with the poetical image of Tak In-Ah still remains vivid in my memory - the theme was 'lost time'. The same theme has continued since then in variations, but her expression skill appears to have changed from image to message. Although this fifth exhibition is an extension of the first exhibition along a similar conceptual line, her expression technique has especially transformed in this instance. Since the work entails her strong desire to capture her attention and longing as an artist in her time, it became more straightforward and appealing. One feels astrong yearning for the 'time that one does not want to lose.' Longing is a wind which blows in the innermost part of a human. A wish in some individulas compels them to get hold of time that passes by like an arrow - they will even long to 'divide one part of time to two' - Who are they? In the past, mummies of a couple were excavated from the sands around Dunhuang. They were covered with red silk and on the silk were the words: ‘Though thousands of years pass by, our love will not change(千歲不變)’ When love meets time that disappears, it turns into strong longing. Her work dramatically catches the intervals where strong longings reside.

A bible rests next to where the couple lay down side by side reading it,
A number of paper slips hang, on which wishes were written and sealed with a seal,
Aspirations flutter in a fish shaped banner on a flagpole high in the sky,
A long cloth expresses the earnest wish to unite with an old tree by being bound to it,
A precarious wish tower was built with pebbles scattered in the lonely riverside,
Two hands of a man and a woman held together firmly, promising ‘Though thousands of years pass by, our love will not change(天歲不變),’
Tens of thousands of padlocks undergo a metamorphosis into trees behind which the minds of two promising endless love are locked...

The places evoke a bitter and empty feeling because their moments in time already disappeared, but the nature of time is to continually perpetuate itself. The comparison of human longings to infinite heaven, trees, and stones, renders grief more sublime. Is love really evanescent and transient in comparison to time? The artist is catching a sign of immortality at the place where we are stuck in a finite moment of time stays.

愿望在抽泣

以‘失去的时间’为主题的卓仁芽的抒情形象第一次展览会至今还记忆犹新。此后，她对相同的主题不断进行了变化，在此过程中她的表现手法出现从形象转变为一种给人的讯息的倾向。
尤其是，这次举办的第五次展览会虽然主题依然是第一次展览会的延伸，但表现手法却明显出现了变化。在捕捉时间的视线里蕴含着作者本人的强烈的愿望，可以说变得更加直接而富有感染力。
对‘不想失去的时间’的强烈的愿望，愿望是藏在人的内心最深处的心愿。在每一瞬间产生想要紧紧抓住如箭一般飞逝的时间的强烈愿望，即使‘把腰分成两半’，产生这种愿望的人都是什么样的人呢？在敦煌附近的沙漠发现的夫妻木乃伊上盖着写有‘千岁不变’的红色绸缎。
当爱情遇到逝去的时间时，将变成强烈的愿望。作品戏剧性地捕捉了强烈的愿望所停留的场所。

在情侣们并躺过的地方翻开倒放着情侣们一起看过的圣经，
写上自己的心愿并用自己的图章封印后挂上的许许多多纸条，
把自己系在古老的老树上恳切希望与老树成为一体的长长的布条，
在宁静的河边用散落着的小石头砌成的看起来有些岌岌可危的许愿塔，
发誓天岁不变而紧紧握在一起的男女的双手，
锁住约定好永不变心的两人的心渐渐成为大树的成千上万个锁头...

这些场所之所以悲痛欲绝是因为已逝去的时间，虽然像是已逝去，但作为时间的实体一直永续下去的伟大的大自然。人的愿望与无穷无尽的天空、树、石头形成对比，使得更加悲痛欲绝。 难道爱情在时间面前真的非常短暂而无奈吗？作者在我们有限的时间所停留的场所捕捉着不可磨灭的记忆。
